Bowhunters Unlimited (bhuarchers.org) works with County Parks to maintain the Archery Range in Steven's Creek County Park. Each month Bowhunters Unlimited organizes work parties with the members to repair trails or fences, paint targets or make new ones, weed and prune around the range, and maintain a safe environment for the visitors. Come for a fun time and check it out!
Volunteers meet the Range Master at the Archery Range Parking lot at 9 AM.
No special skills are required for this event. Please wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, closed toe shoes, and bring a water bottle and sunscreen.

Description
Since 1924, when Stevens Creek County Park was established, people have given their time and talents to help make Santa Clara County Parks special places to visit. In 2010, nearly 2000 volunteers donated over 40,000 hours of service to a variety of projects and programs.
Become a County Parks Volunteer and see how you can play an important role in protecting and enhancing our parklands. What's more, our volunteer events are fun -- come join us to "Go Outside and Play!"
