Front desk receptionists are absolutely vital to the smooth-running of our shelter and the achievement of our mission. In this position, volunteers are responsible for answering phone calls, answering questions of the public, transferring phone calls to the appropriate departments, directing the flow of traffic, calling for and facilitating pet showings, and other administrative tasks. Volunteers are asked to set a weekly shift, but are welcome to choose their own schedule and hours within the open shifts. Current openings are:
Monday: 12:00pm-5:00pm
Tuesday: 12:00pm-7:00pm
Thursday: 12:00pm-7:00pm
Saturday: 10:00pm-5:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm-4:00pm
Receptionists can expect to get plenty of puppy kisses and kitty purrs, and often get to witness our sweet rescue pets getting adopted into their forever homes! If you are passionate about helping animals, and would like to work in a relaxed, climate-controlled setting then this position is for you!

Description
We are an independent non-profit that rescues dogs and cats in the Tulsa Area. Services we provide to the public include a low-cost shot clinic, low-cost spay and neuter, low-cost minor needs veterinary clinic, adoptions, cruelty investigation, and educaiton. Volunteers are at the heart of our organization and we would not be able to accomplish our mission without them.
