Girls on the Run of Bexar County is looking for a SUPER Public Relations Coordinator. This amazing person will be responsible for developing, maintaining, & participating in the public image of GOTR of Bexar County. Duties will included facilitating & setting up community outreach campaigns, execute social media strategies, coordinate public appearances, & collaborate with fellow team members to pitch new ideas to promote GOTR of Bexar County programs. Our Public Relations superstar will need to be an outgoing social butterfly who is comfortable speaking in public at community events, exceptional in creating/building lasting relationships, & comfortable communicating in person, over the phone, & via email. Strong writer who can write content for a variety of channels and audiences.

We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

Description

Trained coaches lead small teams through our research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities, & running games. Over the course of the ten-week program, girls in 3rd-8th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. Our program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a community service project and being physically & emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event.
