We are looking for 10 to 12 energetic individuals to make up our Gala Committee for Be the Change...An Evening of Hope 2019. Be the Change is our yearly cocktail-style mixer to raise funds and awareness about Olive Crest; the venue will be announced soon. The ideal committee member is anyone who supports our mission and has a network that they are willing to open up to Olive Crest.

The primary responsibility of each committee member is to secure sponsorships, ticket sales, auction item donations, and/or help with event details for Be the Change.

• Committee Structure
• ten (10) to twelve (12) committee members
  • one (1) chair
  • nine (9) to eleven (11) committee members
• Chair Qualifications
  • support the mission of Olive Crest
  • availability of time during months before Be the Change to organize and hold meetings and conference calls
  • attendance at Be the Change...
  • ability to recruit additional committee members, if necessary
  • personal network that you are willing to request sponsorships and auction items from
  • previous event planning experience preferred, but not necessary
  • leadership skills to manage members and track sponsorships and auction items

  • support the mission of Olive Crest
  • availability of time during months before Be the Change to meet to the goals of the committee
  • attendance at Be the Change...
  • personal network that you are willing to request sponsorships and auction items from
  • organize and track contacts and responses
• Chair and Member Roles and Responsibilities
  • spread the word about Be the Change
  • identify and solicit individuals and businesses for:
    • sponsorships
    • individual ticket sales
    • donations for silent and live auctions
• Time Commitment
  • attend in-person meeting/orientation TBD in early January 2019
  • attend or call-into bi-monthly meeting
  • attend Be the Change..
  • most of all HAVE FUN!
