Help out in Pikes Peak United Way's 2-1-1 Office!
2-1-1 provides information and referral services to 12 counties in Colorado. People cal 2-1-1 for a variety of human service needs ranging from help paying rent to finding an affordable lawyer to finding a place to get clothes for their children. Our 2-1-1 line receives an incredibly high volume of calls, leading to many voicemails that need to be returned daily. We also offer follow-up calls to our callers to see if the resources provided were helpful. Each month there is a list generated of individuals that have requested a follow-up, asking them a series of questions on a survey.
We need someone who can
1) schedule tax appointments for VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program). - This is one position! We just need help from January-April during tax season for this position!
2) perform follow-up calls, following the questions in the survey and documenting the calls in our database and excel speadsheet
3) retrieve voicemails from the inbox and provide informed customer service oriented return calls and document the calls in our database and excel spreadsheet.
Days and times are flexible! 2-1-1 is open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, so we can accommodate a morning or afternoon preference. We are ideally looking for someone who can commit to regular weekly shifts. Training will be provided on-site before doing calls independently.
