About

Help keep Montgomery Parks safe by providing additional eyes and ears for the Park Police.

Volunteers are trained in non-enforcement police duties that include foot, vehicle, horse or bike patrol; traffic control; parking; community events; and outreach programs.

Park Police Volunteers MUST ATTEND ALL SIX sessions of the Volunteer Training Academy and complete a flexible schedule field training program.

Once trained, volunteers are asked to serve at least 60 hours per year which include a monthly meeting. 20 of the 60 hours must be served via patrol details.

Deadline for applications for the April Academy is February 15, 2018.
