Families Forward Charlotte aims to ease the burden of poverty on children and their families in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. We are providing essential goods, educational programs, a comprehensive list of resources and assistance in navigating existing resources. The organization’s goal is to establish long-term stability for the children and families we serve.

5-15 hours a week. Specific needs are for people to handle the following. 1) help with finding/purchasing goods and handling inventory 2) be our community partnership person (handle upkeep of resources, research opportunities, and reach out to strategic partners) 3) events coordinator (planning and implementing) 4) grant writer (includes researching grant opportunities and assisting with reporting back to grants) 5) Communications/writer - handle newsletters and advise on other communications
