NEYT is seeking Volunteer Youth Football Coaches and Team Moms who enjoy working with children and have a basic knowledge of football. This is a perfect volunteer opportunity for college students looking to get involved and parents looking to train with their kids.

If you understand the value of exercise and strength in creating young resilient, positive, able, goal driven humans, then we would love to work with you. If you have the patience of a saint, this is for you. If you have the passion and willingness to learn, we will train you. Self-motivation, communication, openness, honesty, and kindness are top priority for these positions.

NEYT is a wonderful place to donate time and talent. We rely heavily on volunteers throughout the calendar year. Volunteered time allows our organization to provide quality athletic and developmental programming, community events and outreach to children and families residing in North Shore neighborhoods. We look forward to working with you to determine a volunteer opportunity that fits your lifestyle. We are now recruiting coaches for our football programs! NEYT relies on volunteer coaches to teach young participants football skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love of the game.

  3. CPR / AED / First Aid certifications (NEYT can provide training)
  4. USA Football Heads Up Certification

Mission Statement

New England Youth Tackle Football Inc. (NEYT), is a place where children of all ages and abilities could learn about the sport of football while having fun. The emphasis is on providing an environment that allows children access to the sport year-round. Central to our mission is to provide more playing time, a learning environment for coaches and lowering the cost of participation in the sport. The organization will also provide support to other non-profit football leagues and educate parents on the sport of football and how to keep youth save while playing. To engage in such other activities as are permissible for a corporation formed under chapter 180 of Massachusetts general laws, provided that such activities are permissible for a corporation organized exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended.


We are a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to the athletic and mental development of our youth through football. The success of the league is measured by the fun, achievement, sportsmanship and competition that each of us experience as a result of pulling together to develop the children of our community. We invite your support in leading the character of our youth toward responsibility, self discipline, respect, integrity and sportsmanship.
