Mission Statement

Sacramento Valley Conservancy’s mission is to preserve the beauty, character and biodiversity of the Sacramento Valley landscape by protecting and stewarding natural and working lands, and scenic open spaces for the benefit of current and future generations.

Description

The Sacramento Valley Conservancy was founded in 1990 on two basic principles: that open lands are necessary for quality of life and that we must care for the land today so future generations may enjoy its physical and spiritual benefits tomorrow. Through the support of our loyal members and institutional and corporate supporters (like you!), the Conservancy grows every day to meet our community’s current regional needs to save land for future generations. To date, SVC has protected more than 17,584 acres!
