Get outdoors and help The Nature Conservancy manage its preserves in the Baraboo Hills! We hold stewardship work parties throughout the year, with tasks including invasive plant removal, brush cutting, seed collecting and planting. New volunteers are always welcome!

In April through June, we'll have work parties from 9 am to 12:30 pm in Hemlock Draw and Durst Rockshelter Preserves on the following dates:
- April 7
- April 14
- April 21
- April 28
- May 5
- May 12
- May 19
- June 2

For these spring work parties, we'll be scouting, pulling, and/or spraying garlic mustard at various locations. It's a beautiful time to be out in the woods and see spring wildflowers, and the garlic mustard work helps keep it that way. Meet at the park in Leland at 9 am, and we'll drive together to work sites from there.

Please visit our website for more information about these volunteer days, including what to wear, directions, and contact information.
