JA Volunteer in Classroom
JA Volunteer inspiring youth to own their economic success

Lead fun, hands-on Junior Achievement (JA) activities for the grade level of your choice (kindergarten through 8th grade students) during one school day. JA programs-in the core content areas of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy-ignite the spark in young people to experience and realize the opportunities and realities of work and life in the 21st century.

As role models, JA of Sacramento volunteers bring the curriculum to life with real world experiences shared during classroom sessions. JA Staff provide training and all of the curriculum materials, and the teacher remains in the classroom the entire time. No matter what your profession, your life experience and determination to succeed means that you can serve as a role model. Our volunteers come from diverse occupations, backgrounds and age groups, including business professionals, parents, retirees, and college students. You are welcome to sign-up with a friend or colleague to team-teach.
