Make a difference for our coastal community by volunteering at one of Sebastian's most fun annual events: the Sebastian Lionfish Fest! Coastal Connections has taken the lead role this year in running the event and we need plenty of help to make this amazing festival come together. Volunteer roles will be delegated the day of but include jobs such as: welcome table and information, vendor setup and tear down, checking cook-off tickets, promoting raffles, tourney weigh in, and much more. There is a job for everyone!
All volunteers receive a free cook-off ticket, and eat lionfish before the event attendees! You will also receive an event shirt to wear(and keep of course), and will have plenty of fun according to previous volunteers!

Description
Coastal Connections, Inc. was created in 2017 to foster a connection between people and the coastal wildlife by restoring the function and beauty of our coastal habitats through education, research, and conservation interactions. Individuals of all ages from schools, community groups, tourists, and more will get to participate in oyster recycling, turtle digs, dune plantings, turtle releases, coastal cleanups, environmental art projects, the locally famous Sebastian Lionfish Fest, and much more!
