One-time youth group volunteer opportunities at GOOD+ Foundation can be scheduled approximately one month in advance with our volunteer team staff. We can schedule groups of 15 youth supervised by at least 1 adult team leader.

Volunteer projects are based on timely need, season and group size.

Activities include:

BUNDLING CLOTHING: Volunteers will sort clothing by gender and size, then "bundle" in sets of five pieces, usually two bottoms and three tops.

BUNDLING BOOKS: Volunteers will sort and screen books by age group and reading level, then "bundle" in sets of 3 to 5 books, depending on inventory.

STUFFING DIAPER BAGS: Volunteers will bundle diaper bags with essentials such as diaper wipes, bath products, clothing, baby bottles, blankets, swaddles, toys and more.

GIFT WRAPPING: Volunteers will wrap toys and sort by gender and age to make it easy for us to distribute to children in need. We also bring a holiday playlist to add to the fun!

Mission Statement

Founded by Jessica Seinfeld, GOOD+ Foundation (formerly Baby Buggy) is a nonprofit organization that partners with a national network of leading programs to break the cycle of family poverty through the power of donated child products and life-changing family services. GOOD+ Foundation grants donations of products and services to programs that have demonstrated a capacity to address family poverty in three focus areas: supporting new mothers, investing in early childhood and engaging fathers.

Description

Founded by Jessica Seinfeld in 2001, GOOD+ Foundation (formerly Baby Buggy) is a nonprofit organization that partners with a national network of leading programs to break the cycle of family poverty through the power of donated child products and transformational family services. GOOD+ Foundation carefully selects high performing anti-poverty programs working with families at a critical pivot point in their journey out of poverty.

These programs provide comprehensive services (counseling, job training, parenting support) over a long period of time, allowing GOOD + Foundation to provide children’s gear and supplies to encourage and reward parental program enrollment and achievement in these life-changing programs. In this way, we can provide immediate material needs for a child, while his or her parents take the steps necessary to move the family towards stability.

OUR IMPACT

Through the generous support of donors and over 50,000 volunteers, GOOD+ Foundation has donated over 45million items through its partner network across the United States. The organization has been rated 4-Stars by Charity Navigator and received national accreditation from the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance for its efficient fundraising and operations.
