Join some of the top diplomats from the European Union and public and private sector leaders from across Florida, the Caribbean and Latin America for a 2-day conference focused on climate and disaster response, trade, democracy and human rights and EU relations with the region.
As a volunteer with the event management team for the EU Policy and Outreach Partnership (EUpopUSA.com), you will be able to help with the following:
Day-of tasks on November 15 or 16 will include:
-Greeting, registering participants
-Distributing programs, agendas
-Replenishing publications tables
-Note-taking and/or writing of summaries for sessions
Tasks prior to November 16 (starting late September early October)
-Research of interested South Florida organizations/contacts to invite
-Outreach to South Florida potential attendees
-Social media drafting to publicize event
SPECIAL NOTE: Please note in your reply whether you are able to help with outreach efforts in October AND/OR please note which time slots you are available during the event:
Thursday, November 15 - 10 a.m - 2 p.m. (setup and registration)
Thursday, November 15 - 3 p.m - 7 p.m. (opening registration + reception registration)
Friday, November 16 - 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (registration)
Friday, November 16 - 12:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (registration + cleanup)

It is represented in the United States by the Washington, DC Delegation of the European Union, a full-fledged diplomatic mission working in close coordination with the Embassies and Consulates of the 28 EU Member States.
