Looking for a way for your group to volunteer?
Looking for a one day service event, for 5 or 10 or more people?
Looking for a way to earn community service hours with friends?
Looking for a place to plug in as a scout group, a men's group, a youth group, or a group of friends?
Looking to get dirty and make a difference to the Black Forest fire recovery area??
Nearly six years after the fire, there are still many piles of burned trees or "slash" needing to be removed. We run projects from April to September to help our neighbors still dealing with recovery from the 2013 Black Forest fire. We chip trees, we haul slash away, we plant trees to replace those lost. Many of our projects are for older residents unable to do the work themselves.
Your group can sign up for any given Saturday during our chipping season (June- September) Projects generally run 6-7 hours with a break for lunch midday.
You bring the people, we supply the equipment and safety gear.
You need a project; we need you.
