Can you set aside two hours once a month to give a senior a helping hand in their home?
Help At Your Door, a nonprofit serving seniors, is in need of volunteers to assist with home support. Tasks can vary based on client needs and volunteer skills; some examples include: washing windows, organization, vacuuming, hanging pictures, and other home maintenance tasks.
Help At Your Door serves clients throughout the Twin Cities Metro area, but volunteers in and around St Paul and east metro suburbs are currently of high need.
We offer flexible scheduling, social interaction with a welcoming volunteer community, and most of all, hands-on activities that help the aging population and individuals with disabilities maintain their independence and continue living in their homes.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age, or accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also a volunteer.
