We are looking for individuals or groups that can sew, knit or crochet. Many of our patients would benefit from warm knitted or crocheted socks. The kind that don't fit tightly, rise above the ankle, and provide warmth to cold feet. We are also looking for creative individuals to sew Fidget Blankets for our Alzheimer/Dementia patients. Fidget blankets sit on a lap or table, keeping fingers busy. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer there is an interview/application process and then training. Our office is located in Kearney Mesa where training takes place. But the sewing can happen at home! Please contact me at your earliest convenience.
