Be the catalyst needed for the nonprofit Alleycat Acres to more effectively recruit, engage and retain quality volunteers for their work mentoring and training youth to enter science and tech fields. The Volunteer Impact Partnership (VIP) Manager Corps is recruiting for volunteers and interns to work 10 hours/week to help improve their volunteer management systems and leverage volunteer’s time more powerfully. The projects will start in early February and run 15 weeks, through May. Members receive:

  • training and support
  • experience working in the management of a nonprofit organization
  • recognition for helping to increase an organization’s capacity to deliver services
  • internship credit if arranged by the Corps member
  • a $400 United Way of King County service award, depending on hours
