Are you thankful for your family this holiday season? Are you a lawyer, law student or almost lawyer? Then wouldn’t you like to help keep families together, create new ones or help people move on to find new families? Open Door Legal needs assistance with guardianship and family law cases this Spring! We have opportunities for CA licensed attorneys to co-counsel remotely with our in-house Family Law attorney on a case or two. Or if would like to learn family law from the ground up we have opportunities for law students, not full-time employed attorneys or people with JDs but no license to volunteer in the office at least 14 hours a week. Ability to speak Cantonese is an additional need. Day-to-day work includes negotiating with adverse counsel, meeting clients, drafting demand letters, and researching the relevant law. We are a fast-paced, high-volume office. We guarantee that you will not ever be bored.
