Do you like to socialize with others? Do you like to keep moving? Do you support our Veterans? Then we have the volunteer opportunity for you!
We have needs to support our Veterans by transporting them in wheelchairs to and from appointments as well as from our inpatient units to appointments such as radiology or physical therapy.
If you have 2-3 hours per week and want to give back to our Veterans, then e-mail vhaphivisn4voluntary@va.gov to request a volunteer application. We typically host information and interview sessions the second Wednesday of each month.
This is a great way to know the hospital layout, meet new people, and help our Veterans!
