We are looking for volunteers to provide support to our Winter Straw Program. Volunteers in this role will be assisting to keep the Pet Pantry and warehouse storage areas clean, and assist with support tasks around the pantry as needed. Volunteers should be 'Winter Warriors' prepared to take on cold weather occasionally if needed to help pass out straw to pet owners who will keep their dogs healthy, happy, and most importantly warm throughout the cold months.

This program is ONLY available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm - 2pm.

Volunteers helping with this program should be able to lift 50 pounds ( straw bales are heavy!) and at least 18 years old. You may be asked to help hand out food for our Pet Pantry program, but your primary role will be cleaning and organizing inside of the warehouse.

Volunteers are asked to wear gloves, hats, thick boots, and anything else you may need to keep warm while outdoors - this role is an indoor role, but you may be needed to assist outdoors as well.
