Mission Statement

To provide individualized services and resources to victims of sexual assault, violent crime and traumatic circumstances, through crisis response, advocacy, therapy, and community awareness.

Description

Since 1999, the Victim Service Center has been providing services to crime survivors in the Central Florida community. VSC provides individualized services and resources to victims of sexual assault, violent crime, and traumatic circumstances through crisis response, advocacy, therapy, and community awareness. VSC operates the only Certified Rape Crisis Center for both Orange and Osceola Counties in Florida and recently began serving Seminole County.

We provide around-the-clock support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Master’s level team of crisis counselors run a confidential helpline, provide crisis intervention support for victims, and assist clients from the initial moment of trauma all the way through their healing journey.

Our team of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) also support victims by collecting critical DNA evidence at one of our two confidential locations. The VSC team not only responds to individuals in their immediate moment of crisis but we also offer free therapy to provide long term healing for our clients.
