Completed Memory Bear
Are you skilled at creating, sewing or crafting and interested in helping from the comfort for your home? Being a memory bear creator is a great opportunity for you! We are looking for volunteers to help impact our families by creating memory bears. We provide training, patterns and necessary supplies for the memory bear program and the families will provide the material for the bears.
This is the info the family is given: " Several years ago, a hospice team member made a teddy bear for a patient’s family. This bear was made with love using an article of clothing that belonged to the patient. The family found comfort in having the opportunity to remember their loved one in such a special way. Since that time, Aurora at Home - Hospice volunteers continue to make these bears available to families. Our caring volunteers join together to create the memory bear.
** Reside in Walworth, Racine, Kenosha or surrounding borders so we can bring the material for the bear to you **
