About

Hi-Hope is a 59 year old organization that supports adults with developmental disabilities by connecting them with integrated opportunities for learning, work and leisure. Many of the folks with support have spent their lives segregated from the community at large; denied the opportunity to engage with and explore the world around them. Here is where you come in...

We need volunteers to help us identify and organize short outings for small groups. For example, perhaps you have a connection to a local park and want to play a picnic for an hour or two. Or maybe you work for a business that would be willing to host a Lunch & Learn (a short tour followed by lunch). Or perhaps your best friend has extra tickets to a Gwinnett Braves game. Anything and everything is fair game as long as it gets our folks out and about in the community.

We provide transportation and staff support so all you have to do as the volunteer is be a point of contact. You can work directly with our Volunteer Coordinator to iron out all the details so that everything is fun, easy and runs smooth.

Don't overthink this request. If you have a heart to help some very grateful and very wonderful folks, just reach out and we will make it happen!
