AccentCare is seeking kind hearts that are looking to make a real difference in the lives of the terminally ill. Volunteers contribute to the emotional well being and spiritual peace of our patients.
If you are a licensed massage therapist, or reiki master, our patients would love to have you bring them comfort and caring.
We focus on quality of life for however much time the patient has left.

Description
Hospice is a vision of caring that gives patients with terminal illness choices about how they spend the last days of their lives. Volunteers fill a unique roll in supporting the patient and family as they are the one member of the team whose role is to simply be there for them-- no poking or prodding, no giving medicines or taking temperatures-- the volunteer is there to provide a comforting presence and practical support.
