Do you believe that Science Matters? Are you a lifelong learner? Share the joys of learning with others, meet new people, and bring positive change to your community by volunteering at Kentucky Science Center!
Enrich the museum experience for visitors through dialogue, exhibit instruction, and small demonstrations. Duties may include: interacting with guests, answering basic exhibit questions, working with KSC staff to ensure exhibits are working properly and that consumable materials are stocked, etc.
How much science do you need to know?
A basic knowledge of science is ideal, however we will teach you everything you need to know to encourage visitors to DO SCIENCE!
Requirements:
Volunteers must commit to weekly volunteering with a minimum commitment of 100 hours.
Available Volunteer Hours
Sunday - Thursday: 9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5pm
Friday - Saturday: 9am to 1pm, 1pm to 5pm, or 5pm to 9pm

Are you interested in having fun, meeting new people and being an ambassador of science literacy? Consider becoming a Science Center volunteer! We greatly value our volunteers who are willing to share their time, expertise and experience. The Science Center offers volunteer opportunities for adults and teens ages 13 and older.
