Mon Jan 01, 2018 - Mon Dec 31, 2018

This is a Virtual Opportunity, with no fixed address.

Donating your time to Waste for Use is a great way to exercise your interest in environmental preservation. Whether you're looking to engage in outreach or fundraising activities, volunteering with Waste for Use helps all of us move closer to attaining a healthy environment.

Waste for Use, Inc. is a Georgia non-profit organization. Waste for Use advocates the maintenance of a healthy natural environment. Our mission aims to advance public awareness about environmental health issues in order to effect an environmentally conscious, engaged, and healthy society.

We are seeking a volunteer to provide support for grant funding. This contribution will bring strategic value to the organization by supporting seed and long-term funding. This contributor will help tell our story and build awareness among supporter pools. Primary contributions for this role will include grant writing: researching and identifying funding opportunities, fielding funding/grant requirements, submission of effective and compliant grant proposals including coordination, preparation, writing and submission.

An ideal candidate will be fairly experienced in grant writing and procurement and willing to exercise a great deal of patience in the midst of our seed funding process.

If you think you have what it takes to tackle the ultimate battle of organization funding and to join our mission, we'd like to hear from you!

Please note that this volunteer opportunity is a non-funded role. For interest or questions, please contact Chinelo Arinze 404-997-2334 or send inquiries to
