About

Silverado Hospice has an ongoing need for volunteers who fulfill the mission that "no one dies alone". Volunteers will provide a calming presence for patients who are actively dying, often playing music quietly on a CD or instrument, reading poetry or scriptures, or just sit quietly, hold the hand of the patient. Volunteers sit with the patient and family anywhere from 1 to 4 hours and receive training on all aspects of hospice with special attention to the last hours. If you are interested please come to our information session to learn more about our volunteer service on April 5th, 2018 at our home office-6400 Oak Canyon Suite #150, Irvine, CA from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Please RSVP @ msweda@silverado.com.
