Volunteers are a vital part of Compassus Hospice. Our volunteers belong to a team dedicated to compassionate, end of life care for patients and their families. As little as one hour a week can be life changing to our patients and their families. We are looking for volunteers to simply be companions as well as volunteers with special skills like: massage therapy, cosmetology (for patients who need hair cuts), florists (to brighten patients/families day with a bouquet), bilingual volunteers, crochet/knitting/sewing skills (to make blankets for patients), technology skills (to help patients make digital memory books for their family) etc. . .If you have a heart to make a difference in someone’s life, please contact me today. There is absolutely no charge to become a volunteer and free specialized training is given to every volunteer before assisting families.
