Open Door Ministry is responsible for ordering and putting away food that we buy with our grant money for the food pantry. We need some volunteers that don't mind lifting and putting away boxes of food that weigh from 20-30 pounds. We will all work together to label it and put it away! Depending on how much help we have the process usually takes an hour to and hour and a half. It is always in the morning on Friday but the date changes. We usually get one large order per month. Description
We have many opportunities to serve the community. We are open for volunteers 9-5 every day except Sunday. Volunteers can participate in the weekly food pantry, help prepare for the food pantry, work in the store hanging clothes, organizing, sorting, and there is also a need for drivers to locally pickup food for the pantry from local businesses.
