As a Seed Coach you will form a one-to-one advising relationship with a young woman of color to transform her passion and dreams into a powerful story for her resume and college essay.

Seeds of Fortune, Inc. executive and Seed Coach team is a dynamic community of young professional women on a mission to provide creative and academic guidance, support, and opportunities for the next generation. Seed Coaches for the 2020-2021 program will be provided H.S scholars to work with throughout the summer, fall, and spring semester.

TO QUALIFY AS A SEED COACH, YOU ARE:
  • Equipped with at least two years of professional experience and great writing skills

  • Ready to commit to

    • Attendance at Boot Camp

    • Digital once a week bi-weekly one-to-one writing and college sessions (Sept-Nov)

    • Monthly in-person SEED workshops (Sept-Dec), and other special events

  • Prepared to maintain clear and frequent communication with Seeds of Fortune, Inc.’s Program staff and your Scholar

  • Eager to share in our mission to empower the next generation of women of color

  • Frequent communication with compassionate and knowledgeable staff and experienced volunteers
