As a Seed Coach you will form a one-to-one advising relationship with a young woman of color to transform her passion and dreams into a powerful story for her resume and college essay.
Seeds of Fortune, Inc. executive and Seed Coach team is a dynamic community of young professional women on a mission to provide creative and academic guidance, support, and opportunities for the next generation. Seed Coaches for the 2020-2021 program will be provided H.S scholars to work with throughout the summer, fall, and spring semester.
TO QUALIFY AS A SEED COACH, YOU ARE:Equipped with at least two years of professional experience and great writing skills
Ready to commit to
Attendance at Boot Camp
Digital once a week bi-weekly one-to-one writing and college sessions (Sept-Nov)
Monthly in-person SEED workshops (Sept-Dec), and other special events
Prepared to maintain clear and frequent communication with Seeds of Fortune, Inc.’s Program staff and your Scholar
Eager to share in our mission to empower the next generation of women of color
To become an essential part of a young girl finding her voice
Training and ongoing guidance as you build her college application
Frequent communication with compassionate and knowledgeable staff and experienced volunteers
An opportunity to grow with a dynamic community, and team retreat
