C.A.Y.A. IS IN THE NEED OF, two (2) volunteer Program Supervisors for our After School Homework Center. Qualities we are looking for include; enjoy working with youth, have compassion and understanding of student situation/circumstances, proven success in working with youth, skills and tracking data (computer based), patience, and the ability to be firm and caring, as well as a good communicator and listener.

We are seeking at least two (2) Program Supervisors that can work together on a rotational basis or create their own schedules for the program, as long as there is administrative oversight.

Monitor After School Program (3pm - 6pm, Mon-Fri)

  • Coordinate schedules for Tutors/Students/Program Supervisor
  • Monitor Student Attendance and sign In
  • Assign Computer time/Lessons
  • Responsible for Academic Reports for each student/DATA INPUT FOR ALL STUDENTS DONE WEEKLY
  • Responsible for Tutor reports
  • Responsible for Communication with Parent (s)/Guardian(s)
  • Recruitment of tutors, training, etc.
  • Coordinate Snacks & Breaks for Students
  • Check student Homework Assignments

  • Orientation or Training
  • Mon-Friday; 3pm - 6pm, 5 days per week
  • The number of days, and time will be split between 2 program supervisors
