Join One Brick Boston for the next stop on our series of FREE socials at some of the city's newest and hottest spots!
This month, we're excited to be hosted by Bantam Cider at their Tasting Room in Union Square in Somerville, on Friday, January 19th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm!
Come join us to enjoy tasty cider and chat with other volunteers and friends. It's a great way to start your Friday night and weekend!
We'll also be creating some Well Wish Notes for Cradles to Crayons Massachusetts during the social!
One Brick social events are an awesome opportunity to connect with others in a casual environment as well as learn about upcoming opportunities to fill your both your volunteer and social calendars!

About Bantam Cider:
Bantam Cider was born from a proud family tradition of
winemaking and a desire to be part of a creative process
rooted in the local community.
We were inspired to do something special, to create a truly unique and
modern line of products that would reshape the way people experience
cider. We use the best quality local fruit and ingredients we can find and
work from our cidery in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Bantam remains a small enterprise in a world of big brands.
However, our ambitions are bigger than ever. We plan to challenge everyday thinking about what cider should be, one great drink at a time.

WHERE TO MEET:Bantam does not have a parking lot. Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not park in their private lots nor at Target. There is street parking on Somerville Avenue and some metered parking a few blocks west. Trains, buses, and bikes are a great option. We are a 15 minute walk from two T stops (Sullivan Square and Lechmere) and the Hubway and bus stops are right nearby. If those options don't appeal to you, you can always hitch a ride with Uber or Lyft - they'll get you here and back safely!

Description
Headquartered in San Francisco, California, One Brick is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that brings volunteers together to support other local non-profits by adopting an innovative twist to the volunteer experience: we create a friendly and social atmosphere around volunteering, and after each volunteer event -- which typically lasts only 3 to 4 hours -- we invite volunteers to gather at a local restaurant or caf where they can get to know one another in a relaxed social setting.
Our 'commitment-free volunteering' allows you to choose when you volunteer, rather than having to make commitments for a certain number of volunteer hours, or agree to be available every week at a specific time.
