Join our volunteer team and enjoy planning events that provide rewards that span generations. As Special Events Coordinator, you will help to advance The Nathar Foundation, Inc mission by supporting the work of the Development Department. This position reports to the Director of Development and is specifically responsible for The Nathar Foundation, Inc events.

The Special Events Coordinator provides broad support for The Nathar Foundation, Inc events, including event logistics, rentals, and contracts, working with volunteer committees, invitations, and programs, decorations, seating, signage, as well as soliciting and coordinating silent and live auctions. The Nathar Foundation, Inc key events include the Annual Symposium, Community Dance Day, Dance-A-Thon, and Parent Orientation. The Special Events Coordinator also assists with the summer dance intensives, 3rd party fundraisers, and donor events. They are also responsible for providing tours of the facilities to donors and representing The Nathar Foundation, Inc at community speaking engagements.

The Special Events Coordinator must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and a deep understanding of donor-centered communications. The Special Events Coordinator must also be able to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines while exuding a positive attitude. The Special Events Coordinator must be able to work independently as well as be a team player willing to help wherever is needed. While the Special Events Coordinator is a volunteer position, it is understood that supporting specific events may require a flexible work schedule.
