Do you know how to throw great parties? If the answer is Yes and you want to work with a great team providing help to our community & the environment than we would like to work with you.
The TechRen Foundation is looking for a seasoned Event Specialist / coordinator.
As our Events coordinator you are in charge of every facet of our meetings and events.
You would work closely with our board members and volunteers to plan everything from community outreach Fundraisers to hosting events for our partners and sponsors.
You would meet with clients in person or virtually to work out event detail, plan the event with the team, scout and book locations, food, entertainment, staff and cleanup. Event coordinators make sure the shrimp cocktail stays cold and the hired band stays hot. They create budgets and stick to them, as well as organize transportation, hire and wrangle keynote speakers or celebrities, hire A/V teams and equipment, and generally make sure the event runs smoothly, efficiently and handle any crisis that may come up.
There is no I in team so every endeavour is ours and not yours alone.
We work for our community and our goal is to contribute to those with needs that exceed our own.
As a non profit we depend on the invaluable contributions of volunteers.Through the Adult Volunteer Program, diverse individuals, including working professionals, college students, retired persons and seniors perform a variety of roles to benefit our participants and their families.

Our mission Is to provide a growth oriented environment with a new standard in the procedures used to teach our children, care for our elders, and educate adult persons with developmental disabilities. Our goal is to ensure that every participant is given the opportunity to familiarize and learn today's growing modern technology in a comfortable learning environment with our workshop programs. We will provide a sense of independence, self-empowerment and skill sets that can be used in the development of each participating individual.
Description
The TechRen Foundation is a Florida not-for-profit corporation under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. We provide developmental work study programs specifically engineered to improve the mental, physical and sociological dispositions of the participants. Our programs are essential for those that require a comfortable and stable atmosphere to be fully receptive to home economics, physical activity, arts, music, technological and social training. Our workshops focus on giving our participants the encouragement to increase their knowledge with every reasonable opportunity to meet their predetermined goals. The educational support given in our workshop programs allows participants to demonstrate their skills in a learning environment that will give them the tools to become independent, interdependent and integrated in our global community.
