Willamette West Habitat for Humanity is in need of an organized, detail-oriented volunteer who will work at the Denney Gardens construction site to help keep our tools in tip-top shape. We are asking for the Tool Maintenance Volunteer to clean tools of dust, debris and grime, check for damage and wear, discard broken tools/parts, generate a list of tools needed/parts, organize tool storage area, and lubricate tools as necessary. We ask for this volunteer to come out at least 2 hours per week when our site is open (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 8:00am-4:00pm).

Habitat for Humanity is an international ecumenical non-profit organization who partners with low-income families in need, along with the community we serve, to provide simple, decent and affordable housing for those in need.
Description
We build houses using volunteer labor, and donated building materials, for low-income families in need. We serve individuals and families on the westside of Portland, mainly Washington County and a small portion of Clackamas County. Since we opened in 1988, we have served over 100 families in Washington County.
