Texas Home Health Hospice is seeking volunteers with confident phone skills to make weekly calls to our hospice patients, assist in office with filing, sending emails/ faxes and other administrative duties. This requires only 1-3 hours weekly. Training will be provided.

This is a great opportunity for a student who may need volunteer hours or anyone looking for experience in working back office at a healthcare facility.

Volunteers are an integral part of the Texas Home Health Hospice team, providing compassion and care when it is needed most. As the heart and hands of the hospice team, they provide a special kind of caring to patients, families, and staff through helping to make the hospice experience manageable and rewarding.

Men, women, and young people of all ages and backgrounds can volunteer in a variety of roles.

Volunteer as:

  • Patient/Family Care Volunteer
  • Office/Administrative Volunteer
  • Pet Therapy Volunteer
  • Bereavement Volunteer
  • Veteran Volunteer

ALL POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION. *** ALL POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS WHO WORK DIRECTLY WITH PATIENTS MUST ADDITIONALLY UNDERGO A BACKGROUND CHECK, TAKE A TB TEST, HEALTH SCREEN AND ORIENTATION PRIOR TO START***
