Community outreach needed for HUGE free medical, dental, and vision clinic

California CareForce's mission is to provide free medical, dental, and vision services to those in need at 3-day clinics across the state. Since 2011, we have provided critical care worth $11 million to over 27,000 patients thanks to 12,000 professional and general volunteers. 97% of our patients are uninsured or under-insured and among the most vulnerable populations in California. We do not have any restrictions on who can receive our services based on insurance, income, employment, residency, or immigration status because our volunteers believe that everyone deserves basic healthcare.

We need volunteers to spread the word about our 2018 Coachella Clinic at the Riverside County Fairgrounds from March 23-25 -- which will have the capacity to serve 1,500-2,000 patients by engaging 500-900 community volunteers. Doing so will require visiting, calling, or emailing local establishments in the Coachella Valley including nonprofits, businesses, and medical offices. Volunteers on our Marketing Committee will be expected to serve at least a few hours each month until late March. You will also be invited to volunteer as our special guest at the clinic to see the enormous impact you had on the lives of individuals and families in our community first-hand (although volunteering at the clinic is not required).
