Volunteers in this role keep the school library running smoothly by ensuring that all necessary materials and services are accessible to all students and staff. The main responsibility of this role is to organize and shelve books.
Volunteers dedicate time and energy into maintaining order within the library, such as preparing books for shelving, alphabetizing, repairing bindings, or processing new books.
Volunteers are asked to spend 1- 4 hours per day in the library, at least once a week. It is preferred that volunteers commit to at least one term (September - December or January - June).
