We need 10 Volunteers to assist with Community Health Conference Event. To assist, guide and facilitate event activities, total of 3 hours, Wednesday evening, January 17, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at Holy Assembly church location, 55 East Villa Street, Pasadena, CA 91103, free parking in church lot off N. Raymond Ave. Qualifies for community service hours from school or organization. Register here with VolunteerMatch.org & please arrive early at 5:30pm. FEED LA COUNTY, a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit humanitarian charity, founded in 2002 by Pastor James Jacobs, a Vietnam Veteran, provides and distributes food & hot meals by partnering with more than 98 local organizations, helps Veterans with PTSD, locate housing, job placement, education, working computers, hygiene supplies and referrals for mental health and drug treatment services. Recognized by The City of Pasadena, The Pasadena Star News, Pasadena Weekly and featured in the Beverly Press.
