Mission Statement

Stony Point Academy is committed to provide an academically rich, rigorous, and intellectually stimulating program that ensures that all students will be college, career, and civic ready upon graduation. Our educational program provides a small, safe, and supportive student-centered learning environment, with an integrated curriculum connected to life experiences and community. Students will develop into lifelong learners with intrinsic self-motivation, critical thinking skills, global awareness, and commitment to social responsibility.

Description

Stony Point Academy serves Sonoma County youth in grades 7-12; we are located in the low socioeconomic area of South Santa Rosa. We serve underrepresented and underserved students and families. Stony Point Academy’s invigorating and enriching educational experience continues to open competitive opportunities for first-generation college students, as well as to students in career technical pathways. Students, parents, and teachers collaborate together in a diverse and dynamic learning community to ensure lifelong success for all students. Stony Point Academy students maintain an interest in the success of our program, continuing the sense of school ownership developed during their middle and high school years.
