Like driving? Like people? We have the PERFECT volunteer opportunity for you! LAAN employs volunteers to transport clients to their homes after visiting our food pantry on the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month. LAAN offers these rides to clients 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. This service helps ease the burden of getting home with too much to carry.
Volunteers should be able to commit to at least one shift per month. On each pantry day, the shifts we have available are:
- 10 am to 1pm
- 1pm to 4 pm
These shifts are able to be combined to one six hour shift rather than two three hour shifts based on volunteer interest.
Volunteers must have a reliable automobile, a valid drivers license, and current auto insurance.
