We are still looking for some volunteers to assist with our Bring Hope to the Table project. Volunteers are stationed at participating stores to hand out fliers regarding collecting food for those in need and then collecting the food at the exits. Volunteer are position inside the Kroger Stores near the entrances. Gleaners welcomes student volunteers to volunteer with a parent or guardian. Volunteer Letters will be provided for students. We are trying to schedule 4-6 volunteers but if you have a group of more, we will accommodate your group.

For more than 40 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities." Last year, Gleaners distributed 42 million pounds of emergency food to 499 partner soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, and Monroe counties.
Of every dollar donated, Gleaners uses 97 cents for food and food programs. One dollar provides three meals for a hungry neighbor.
