The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) will be holding a Skiing/Snowboarding Clinic on Friday February 23, 2018 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at Hoodoo Ski Resort. We are looking for volunteers with experience instructing skiing, snowboarding, or both! We will provide a lift ticket at NO COST to all of our volunteers. Volunteers serve as guides, instructors, or assist in any way they can, providing our athletes an opportunity to learn or polish their basic fundamentals and skiing/snowboarding skills.

The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes [NWABA] enriches lives and provides opportunities for children, youth, adults and veterans who are visually impaired. When individuals with visual impairments experience sports and recreation they have more self-confidence and open up to the possibility that they really can pursue their dreams in both sports and life. Our athletes leave behind sedentary isolated lives and they gain skills, confidence and joy.
