Passionate about improving literacy with children? If so, becoming a literacy tutor through Vello is the right opportunity for you. Vello is an online literacy program that connects volunteer tutors and students to a virtual library to help improve a child's reading ability. Starting January 29, 2018 thru May 31, 2018, you can be matched with an MPS student and engage in one 30-minute session per week online in the comfort of your home or workplace. Training for this opportunity has been scheduled for January 23, 2018 at Central Office. For more information, please contact Sophia Smith at 414-773-9823 or smith28@milwaukee.k12.wi.us.
