About Interlock Media, Inc.

Interlock Media, Inc. is an activist film company seeking solutions for environmental challenges.

We are inviting a Video Editor to work closely, and train with, the Senior Editor and the Director in all aspects of post-production on a highly produced international public television documentary.

Applicants must have training / experience on Premiere Pro and After Effects. Experience with Boris, GenArts third party plug ins and exporting stems for audio post are a plus. Candidates should also be comfortable troubleshooting.

Applicant should possess the ability to work independently and take initiative in a resource-limited environment. Excellent hands-on training for even experienced editors.

Schedule : Minimum of 20 hr/wk, full time (40 hr/wk) preferred

Compensation : Unpaid internship.

Location : Convenient to public transportation (Kendall Square area).

Job Type : Full-time/Part-time Internship; non-profit. Minimum 4-month commitment.

Description

Interns participate in all aspects of film and media production, including: research writing coordination of crews participation in shoots participation in film editing scriptwriting production of print materials any task that may arise

Salary: None Qualifications:

Interns must have strong communication skills, a desire to learn, and a pro-active attitude. The following skills and experience are preferred, but not required: superior writings skills technical ability computer skills (mac platform) experience with camera, lighting, or other gear.
