We are seeking volunteers to assist with ORCA's native plant nursery located at the IFAS Aquaculture Research and Extension Facility. The plants are being grown to support our Living Lagoon Program that involves living shoreline construction and community education.
Nursery maintenance includes watering plants, weeding and pruning, propagating plants, planting new plant species in pots and maintaining the nursery inventory.

Description
Among the current programs at ORCA are the Fast Assessment of Sediment Toxicity program and the Kilroy program, which provide real-time water quality information to identify sources of nonpoint source pollution in coastal and estuarine waters.
