The communications assistant(s) will support planning and implementation of engagement strategies for the National Center for Creative Aging, and work to increase the organization's presence both online and offline. The communications assistant will directly contribute to increasing NCCA's capacity to serve older adults through the arts by communicating our programs to our members and stakeholders and increasing public awareness.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with ED to develop a communication strategy
- Manage social media activity and expand online networks
- Coordinate content creation for newsletters
- Write blog posts, as required, and outreach to others to write content
Qualifications
-Excellent writing skills and editing skills, with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of key social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram)
- Works well independently and as part of a team
