Our vision for volunteering in Ghana is: "To enable the participation of all citizens in voluntary activities which meets their own and the community's needs in ways which make a difference." The mission of Ro-Wena Foundation Ghana in support of this vision is as follows: To help better the lives of those less fortunate than us and providing a culturally enriching experience. Ro-Wena Foundation Ghana seeks to be a ladder in local volunteering. We are user-bringing together local expertise and knowledge of voluntary action in Ghana.

Description

Ro-wena Foundation is a volunteer placement organization based in Ghana. We provide safe, affordable and valuable volunteer programs from 1 to 24 weeks in Ghana. Founded in Ghana for volunteers from all over the world, we work with local communities within Ghana and their networks to support in country programs towards our mission - "To help better the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves as well as providing a culturally enriching experience

Our Work
Engaging in a meaningful volunteer work is our main priority. We know your time is precious, so we want to make sure you can make the most out of every minute you spend in Ghana. We have created structured programmed with the people that need help and volunteers most, to make sure your help is most effective and creates the best impact.

Our Team

Our lead coordinator in Ghana has lots of past experience working with tourists and will help advise the best things to do with your time here, as well as help plan your trips and weekend excursions to make sure they run smoothly and safely. If you have any questions before about the things you can do and the trips you can take aside of the volunteering program we run.
