We're looking for folks with fundraising experience to join our CROSO Development Committee! CROSO provides post-secondary scholarships to former street children in Uganda. Because our scholars are all former street children, our scholarships cover more than tuition. We also provide housing, food, supplies, transportation and a laptop for each scholar. We also pair each scholar with a CROSO Liaison (mentor) who communicates monthly.
CROSO is based in the Chicago-land area and has several committees that help us accomplish our goals. It is the job of the fund development committee to create a plan that will guide the organization in seeking out and securing funding from an array of outside sources. The committee works with the executive director to identify grant opportunities, potential donors and best practices for stewardship of current donors.
